When Joni Rahardjo came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Putra Rewulu fans jumped to their feet. Adrianus Tambunan was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and 邱银荣 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 邱银荣 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 40th minute, Pär Goy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 43 minutes on the clock, 韩兴朋 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 邵崇烨 to make the kick off. Adrianus Tambunan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邵崇烨, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Setyo Sinuraya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
