The crowd rose to their feet as Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Savier. That made the score 1-0 after 45 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cristopher Damian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Di Xing Yu firmly grabbed it by the left post.
