When Winfried Pape came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the VfL Bad Nenndorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winfried Pape couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Simon Böck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MUSHIBA FC's Osvaldo Vergílio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save MUSHIBA FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Kaká Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MUSHIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VfL Bad Nenndorf the free kick. In the 12th minute, Kaká Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Boubacar Otabo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Rafa Alves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Wischnowsky made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Rafa Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Wischnowsky. VfL Bad Nenndorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Simon Böcks short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Osvaldo Vergílio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Osvaldo Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Winfried Pape in the 24th minute. Gabriel Wischnowsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Alves in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Gabriel Wischnowsky, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Rafa Alves made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Wischnowsky. VfL Bad Nenndorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Osvaldo Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winfried Pape in the 36th minute of play. Rafa Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Alves in the 38th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Gabriel Wischnowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafa Alves in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Wischnowsky saved VfL Bad Nenndorf from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Tande made a kick off. Rafa Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Wischnowsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafa Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Gabriel Wischnowsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save VfL Bad Nenndorf from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Claudinho Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. MUSHIBA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Wischnowsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Albertinho Guimarães hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Claudinho Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the VfL Bad Nenndorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudinho Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boubacar Otabo in the 67th minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claudinho Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Rafa Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemens Heineke's late challenge caught a MUSHIBA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemens Heineke helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VfL Bad Nenndorf! In the 97th minute, Simon Böck made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Vergílio. MUSHIBA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The MUSHIBA FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MUSHIBA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
