In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Laureano Silvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Amador Rafel. Sven-Åke Hjelm charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Åke Hjelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sven-Åke Hjelm hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Jonathan Petersson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo Diamante U18's Laureano Silvino. Laureano Silvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Christer Wästerberg got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Leonides Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Leonides Dalmau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Grep made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Christer Wästerberg's late challenge caught a Deportivo Diamante U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Wästerberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lirarnas Lag's Christer Wästerberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Christer Wästerberg. Deportivo Diamante U18's Laureano Silvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Petersson in the 38th minute of play. Amador Rafel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Grep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Örjan Håning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luo Gang Zhan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Rune Grep had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Maiorga. Conrado Maiorga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Rune Grep skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rune Grep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Maiorga in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christer Wästerberg made a kick off. Florentino Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Petersson in the 56th minute of play forced Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Laureano Silvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christer Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 62 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Hjelm. Lino Igon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rune Grep. Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rune Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Rafel in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes in the game Carlos Paio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Florentino Lico. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Petersson hit a great ball. After 89 minutes of play Lirarnas Lag's Christer Wästerberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Christer Wästerberg hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Conrado Maiorga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Grep made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Deportivo Diamante U18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
