The referee showed Wim Oosterman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes ASV Muziekwijk got a freekick which was hit by Wim Oosterman. Arnoldo Licerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Tommy de Zeeuw when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Hekman in the 22nd minute of the match. When Frans Koopmans fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASV Muziekwijk's protests and gave Frans Koopmans a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when ASV Muziekwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Koopmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Arnoldo Licerio made the kick off in the second half. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anacleto Valente the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PINGO PINGO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anacleto Valente had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Anacleto Valente hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
