The corner led INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Lucas Head Son to fire away a dangerous shot which Gustavo Bernebe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sixto Ereinotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Alisson Goycochea made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Head Son in the 22nd minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Lucas Head Son who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Clemente Domeka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amboy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA the free kick. Clemente Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Lucas Head Son shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 47th minute of the match Clemente Domeka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Clemente Domeka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 47th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Domeka to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gustavo Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar de Souza in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's Alfredo Quilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alisson Goycochea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Humberto Roldanillo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Alisson Goycochea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amboy FC. With a little luck, Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe got control of the ball when Geovanni Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Bernebe made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Nilmar de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Quilo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Lucas Head Son had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
