Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Apostolikas Giannaros started the match with the kick off. Giorgos Samoladas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Eusébio Caiado made a huge save. In the 8th match minute, los nadies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Gamba to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loukas Zografakis during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute Toro Grana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Kaliasis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Giannis Basinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timoteo Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Inautzi came free, but Apostolis Kaliasis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play Sheriff's Loukas Zografakis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 32 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Zografakis. Emilio Ascencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apostolis Kaliasis. Sheriff's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. los nadies's Eusébio Caiado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save los nadies from getting a goal against them. The supporters of los nadies booed when Sheriff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Samoladas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apostolis Kaliasis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Saturnin in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Apostolikas Giannaros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but los nadies's Eusébio Caiado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, los nadies's Eusébio Caiado got control of the ball when Dimitris Kapopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toro Grana to make the kick off. Apostolis Kaliasis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Grana, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With an all-out effort, los nadies's Apostolis Kaliasis threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amado Inautzi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sheriff's Apostolis Kaliasis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Sheriff from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Toro Grana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apostolis Kaliasis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd play minute Toro Grana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Apostolis Kaliasis. 0-1. Sheriff's Sakis Panagoulis was substituted for Dimitris Kapopoulos. 71 minutes into the match, Timoteo Saturnin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apostolis Kaliasis, 0-3. Takis Miaoulis's late challenge caught a los nadies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takis Miaoulis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Takis Miaoulis hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Sheriff defense, Toro Grana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apostolis Kaliasis. The Sheriff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apostolis Kaliasis should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Sheriff's Apostolis Kaliasis got control of the ball when Amado Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apostolis Kaliasis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Grana in the 79th minute of the match. After 80 minutes Sheriff's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximo Galo who took care of the corner kick. Takis Miaoulis tried in the 81st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Apostolis Kaliasis a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-5. If Maximo Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Grana came free, but Apostolis Kaliasis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Amado Inautzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apostolis Kaliasis. Amado Inautzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Toro Grana took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Apostolis Kaliasis to make any attempt to save it. The Sheriff supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching los nadies's performance. The match ended with a win for los nadies.
