Pascoal Antas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Pascoal Antas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Telesforo having to make a save. Pascoal Antas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Leonides Telesforo made a huge save. Kai Schirmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 30th minute of play. When Pascoal Antas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the FC Fura Balizas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascoal Antas couldn't finish the play. FC Fura Balizas's Angélico Cavaco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Domingos Luken, made in the 40th minute of the game. After 44 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Laguna. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Angélico Cavaco got a free kick in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Claudio Echeverri took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kai Schirmer to make any attempt to save it. FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Cable a Tierra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artur Rocha took the corner. Artur Rocha made a great header on FC Fura Balizas's corner, it was just that Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 62 played minutes Artur Rocha shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo to catch but Artur Rocha was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Leonides Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Antas in the 70th minute of the match. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Luciano Urtungo replaced Amancio Luke. In the 74th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Prates to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Fura Balizas's Kai Schirmer got control of the ball when Luciano Urtungo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan got free with Kai Schirmer in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Fura Balizas's Alberto Vides was substituted for Artur Rocha. The attack was good, but when Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Edgar Neiva's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Neiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Neiva hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Kai Schirmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Kai Schirmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Echeverri. Angelo Sardinha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai Schirmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Laguna. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Aquilino Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Telesforo came out of the goal and Aquilino Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Fura Balizas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cable a Tierra had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
