The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Silvano Mannie came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić. But to his dismay, Istok Šabotić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 13th minute, Luisito Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Istok Šabotić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Istok Šabotić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvano Mannie came out and tried to block the shot, but Istok Šabotić slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 20th minute. When Wilfredo Botello fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Te Moriste en Madrid's protests and gave Wilfredo Botello a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Te Moriste en Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Botello. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demeter Denac got free with Silvano Mannie in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Luisito Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Ayala's late challenge caught a HIT Gorica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Ayala helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Te Moriste en Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Ayala to maneuver through the defense. Te Moriste en Madrid's Silvano Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istok Šabotić in the 35th minute of play. Istok Šabotić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demeter Denac was the one to do the kick off. Te Moriste en Madrid's Silvano Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istok Šabotić in the 52nd minute of play. The HIT Gorica fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Istok Šabotić in the 59th minute of play forced Te Moriste en Madrid's goalkeeper Silvano Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Goričan, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Demeter Denac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Txerran kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Krsta Marn hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Silvano Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demeter Denac in the 75th minute of the match. Oscar Ayala was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 84 minutes into the match, Zlatko Goričan notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Te Moriste en Madrid's Silvano Mannie. Silvano Mannie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Istok Šabotić managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Istok Šabotić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Mannie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Te Moriste en Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Istok Šabotić came free, but Silvano Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Te Moriste en Madrid's Silvano Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istok Šabotić in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that HIT Gorica were the better team. HIT Gorica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
