In the 27th minute of the match, Basílio de Mendonça tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lan Šorli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duško Turnšek in the 31st minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Alberto Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli got control of the ball when Basílio de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimir Lima lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alberto Palmeira had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Duško Turnšek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek after 39 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Bandelocos's goalkeeper to hold. Bandelocos's Alberto Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. When HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on HIT Gorica's corner Istok Šabotić fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alberto Palmeira quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HIT Gorica's Richard Koštomaj pulled a muscle in his leg after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gonçalo Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonçalo Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. HIT Gorica's Demeter Denac was substituted for Richard Koštomaj. In the 93rd match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Mattos to maneuver through the defense.
