The referee ignored Deportivo Empate's protests and gave Robustiano Abar a yellow card for diving instead. Robustiano Abar hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match, Duško Turnšek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiadoro Abadia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th minute Goražd Djordjević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiadoro Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, HIT Gorica's Goražd Djordjević dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tiadoro Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervin Žak in the 17th minute of play. Grozdan Mešić hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Lan Šorli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Abendano in the 20th minute of the match. Tiadoro Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duško Turnšek in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Duško Turnšek came free, but Tiadoro Abadia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ervin Žak charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ervin Žak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ervin Žak to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Krsta Marn got a free kick in the 38th minute. Istok Šabotić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiadoro Abadia came out and tried to block the shot, but Istok Šabotić slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 40th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentine Abello made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Sebastian Abendano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lan Šorli. Sebastian Abendano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. After 60 minutes, Sebastian Abendano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Empate and the HIT Gorica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiadoro Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Istok Šabotić, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Zlatko Goričan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sebastian Abendano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lan Šorli came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Abendano slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 72nd minute. Tiadoro Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duško Turnšek in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Anis Doberšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentine Abello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Anis Doberšek fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HIT Gorica's protests and gave Anis Doberšek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Anis Doberšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Frichoso Abarca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Empate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HIT Gorica the free kick. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Empate's Frichoso Abarca got a free kick in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HIT Gorica fully deserved thier win.
