Antoni Kalinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 16 minutes on the clock, Grzegorz Solarek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szalone Konie fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! 0-3 came in the 19th minute when Rubens Pinheiro all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Antoni Kalinowski. In the 22nd minute Jailson de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Carlos de Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Antoni Kalinowski. Szalone Konie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Paulo Mattos came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Szalone Konie's Tolek Mazurkiewicz. But to his dismay, Tolek Mazurkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Szalone Konie's Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Carlos Reis made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoni Kalinowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Szalone Konie's goal looked a bit too open when André Piovezan came free, but Antoni Kalinowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Piovezan took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoni Kalinowski. Antoni Kalinowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After a rather tough play, Szalone Konie's Aleksander Ramzinski got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as André Piovezan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antoni Kalinowski. That made the score 1-7 in the 56 minute of play. The supporters of Itajaí Football Club booed when Szalone Konie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Dylla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szalone Konie's zone, Carlos de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Kalinowski came out of the goal and Carlos de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoni Kalinowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rubens Pinheiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 64 minute of play. Itajaí Football Club's André Piovezan got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoni Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson de Senna in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Itajaí Football Club's Carlos Reis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antoni Kalinowski. Antoni Kalinowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Jailson de Senna succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-10. Szalone Konie's Antoni Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Reis in the 83rd minute of play. Luís Paulo de Castro came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antoni Kalinowski could save by the left post. In the 85th minute Jailson de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedykt Dylla during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Szalone Konie got a freekick which was hit by Benedykt Dylla. When the final whistle sounded Itajaí Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Szalone Konie.
