In the 5th minute Ulrik Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Eliseu Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Basílio de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Mellberg came out of the goal and Basílio de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tostão Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Tasso. Alberto Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Arvidsson in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio de Mendonça in the 25th minute of play forced Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio de Mendonça in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Mellberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the game, Jonathan Österlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandelocos the free kick. Jonathan Österlund hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tostão Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jens-Ola Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bandelocos's Alberto Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrik Isaksson in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sonstorps Fotboll defense, Basílio de Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ola Mellberg. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ola Mellberg should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basílio de Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Tasso in the 55th minute of play forced Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Duarte. Jonathan Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Lima to maneuver through the defense. If Olof Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olof Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Palmeira having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Wiktor Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Jonathan Österlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, Eliseu Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the Sonstorps Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Richard Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of Bandelocos were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sonstorps Fotboll side.
