Moncho Muelas struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Oscar de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Eneas Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Silvano Redondo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Nando Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eneas Toxeiro came out of the goal and Nando Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boca Juniors's Eneas Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Mangueira in the 10th minute of play. Nando Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nando Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brazil Academy's Oscar de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germán Zamora in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Brazil Academy's Reginaldo Ferraz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reginaldo Ferraz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brazil Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reginaldo Ferraz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, Reginaldo Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Unai Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Oscar de Queiroz. Brazil Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Boca Juniors's Eneas Toxeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Eneas Toxeiro was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and José Vítor Prata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Vítor Prata really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Zamora to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Paraense to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Marcelo Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moncho Muelas was the one to do the kick off. Brazil Academy's Oscar de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Brazil Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Quadros in the 62nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Eneas Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvano Redondo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Silvano Redondo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Silvano Redondo hit a great ball. Eneas Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Paraense in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Dimo Vega. Téo Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo-Enrique Alonso during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Pablo-Enrique Alonso. In the 70thth minute of the game Nando Quadros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Eneas Toxeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Romeo Sánchez got a free kick in the 71st minute. Nando Quadros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eneas Toxeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Moncho Muelas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Oscar de Queiroz made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Unai Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Brazil Academy got a freekick which was hit by Nando Quadros. A collision led to Brazil Academy getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. José Vítor Prata hit a great ball. The long shot by Romeo Sánchez in the 86th minute really tested Oscar de Queiroz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nando Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eneas Toxeiro having to make a save. Nando Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eneas Toxeiro having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
