Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Samsunspor's Mecnun Başer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samsunspor's Yakup Kadri Tekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Samsunspor from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şafak Şeref in the 5th minute of play. If Abelardo Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th match minute, C. A. Balnearia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Burni to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Florencio Fidencio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yakup Kadri Tekin. The goal made the score 1-0. Yakup Kadri Tekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Abreu in the 16th minute of play. When C. A. Balnearia's Abelardo Abreu, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Balnearia. In the 25th minute, Zeledon Burni fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yakup Kadri Tekin, passed just outside the right post. Zeledon Burni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Yakup Kadri Tekin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, C. A. Balnearia's Mauro Geleberto got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Florencio Fidencio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Balnearia's protests and gave Florencio Fidencio a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes C. A. Balnearia got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Fidencio. Yakup Kadri Tekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zeledon Burni made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the C. A. Balnearia defense, Şafak Şeref kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Tuste. The C. A. Balnearia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Tuste should have stopped the shot. After 53 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Şafak Şeref. After 54 played minutes, C. A. Balnearia's Ildefonso Peio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yakup Kadri Tekin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Balnearia reached it. 59 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Burni came free, but Yakup Kadri Tekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Osman Cerit hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Abelardo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Yakup Kadri Tekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Burni in the 63rd minute of the match. The C. A. Balnearia fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when C. A. Balnearia's Zeledon Burni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Abelardo Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the C. A. Balnearia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Abreu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Samsunspor's zone, Zeledon Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakup Kadri Tekin came out of the goal and Zeledon Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes C. A. Balnearia got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Uzuri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Abreu in the 90th minute of play forced Samsunspor's goalkeeper Yakup Kadri Tekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the C. A. Balnearia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
