Jacobo Tuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moncho Muelas in the 5th minute of the match. Moncho Muelas scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Tuste, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Romeo Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Tuste was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Jacobo Tuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Redondo in the 30th minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Eneas Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Burni in the 31st minute of play. Zeledon Burni came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eneas Toxeiro could save by the left post. In the 40th minute, Unai Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Tuste. C. A. Balnearia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Eneas Toxeiro got control of the ball when Zeledon Burni tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Abreu in the 47th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Eneas Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Germán Zamora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Herrera in the 54th minute of play forced C. A. Balnearia's goalkeeper Jacobo Tuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Eneas Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Mino in the 61st minute of play. Jacobo Tuste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Germán Zamora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 64 minute of play. Ildefonso Peio charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Peio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when C. A. Balnearia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, C. A. Balnearia's goal looked a bit too open when Moncho Muelas came free, but Jacobo Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Boca Juniors's Moncho Muelas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacobo Tuste. Jacobo Tuste yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Jacobo Tuste was a little too slow when Germán Zamora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-6. Moncho Muelas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacobo Tuste firmly grabbed it by the left post. Boca Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
