The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Ludomir Arbaszewski put in a rough tackle. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Inter de Melão. Ernani Dias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aureliusz Olender. 0-1. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when Wiktoria Zajafka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Cieslak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Inter de Melão's Luiz Fábio Montenegro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliusz Olender was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Marcinho Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korneliusz Cieslak. With his leg Marcinho Marques managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Wiktoria Zajafka's Korneliusz Cieslak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Marcinho Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korneliusz Cieslak. Jaroslaw Drebit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marcinho Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korneliusz Cieslak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Marcinho Marques made a huge save. Marcinho Marques came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Wiktoria Zajafka's Wasyl Fikus. But to his dismay, Wasyl Fikus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Korneliusz Cieslak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Marcinho Marques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korneliusz Cieslak got free with Marcinho Marques in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wasyl Fikus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Inter de Melão's Marcinho Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Melão from getting a goal against them.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Korneliusz Cieslak to make the kick off. When Adhemar Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Inter de Melão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Marcinho Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Cieslak in the 56th minute of play. Korneliusz Cieslak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Korneliusz Cieslak took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcinho Marques. Marcinho Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Wiktoria Zajafka's Klement Ostrowski got a free kick in the 67th minute. Inter de Melão's Ernani Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Wiktoria Zajafka booed when Inter de Melão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Massa to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Drebit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wiktoria Zajafka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Melão the free kick. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when Wiktoria Zajafka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslaw Drebit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Korneliusz Cieslak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korneliusz Cieslak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Cieslak, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Wiktoria Zajafka's Korneliusz Cieslak got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Wasyl Fikus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Wiktoria Zajafka's Korneliusz Cieslak made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter de Melão players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wiktoria Zajafka.
