Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florencio Asmussen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Carlos Julienne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deus Ex Machina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Julienne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Jean-Pierre Halter made a precise shot to the right of Juliano Buchanan. Copaquire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jean-Pierre Halter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Juliano Buchanan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juliano Buchanan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Pierre Halter's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Juliano Buchanan came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deus Ex Machina's Jean-Pierre Halter. But to his dismay, Jean-Pierre Halter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Copaquire's zone, Freddy Rouvrais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliano Buchanan came out of the goal and Freddy Rouvrais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jean-Pierre Halter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juliano Buchanan was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liberto Pascuala during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Liberto Pascuala kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Copaquire's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Halter came free, but Juliano Buchanan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Christophe Pérennou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deus Ex Machina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copaquire the free kick. Christophe Pérennou hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Deus Ex Machina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Chiffoleau to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliazar Paillao in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jérémie Millier saved Deus Ex Machina from getting behind. Jean-Pierre Halter took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juliano Buchanan. Juliano Buchanan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to Deus Ex Machina getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Moïse Hauser hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Florencio Asmussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérémie Millier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Freddy Rouvrais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the game, Jean-Pierre Halter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Juliano Buchanan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deus Ex Machina's Jérémie Millier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Asmussen in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes Deus Ex Machina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florencio Asmussen who took care of the corner kick. Jean-Pierre Halter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Julienne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Juliano Buchanan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deus Ex Machina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
