The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlos Teyo in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matthias Bjurström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 9 played minutes Real Academia Serengetti got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Teyo. 11 minutes into the game, 808s & Heartbreak's Kristian Nässén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Sagrario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Real Academia Serengetti's Clodoveo Sagrario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Stenberg in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Real Academia Serengetti booed when 808s & Heartbreak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Björn Stenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 808s & Heartbreak's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benito Patxi 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 25th minute Benito Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Bjurström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Real Academia Serengetti's Carlos Teyo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthias Bjurström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, Real Academia Serengetti's Carlos Teyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthias Bjurström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 32 in the game by Carlos Teyo from a close distance when the talented Matthias Bjurström managed to make a qualified save. 808s & Heartbreak's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Kristian Nässén put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Clodoveo Sagrario. Matthias Bjurström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Teyo in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, 808s & Heartbreak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Arenius to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Carlos Teyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthias Bjurström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Teyo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lennart Torstensson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Teyo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthias Bjurström saved 808s & Heartbreak from getting behind. After 53 minutes, Lennart Torstensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 808s & Heartbreak and the Real Academia Serengetti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 808s & Heartbreak's Lennart Torstensson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Joakim Ugla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Clodoveo Sagrario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Real Academia Serengetti got a freekick which was hit by Leo Donio. Matthias Bjurström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Teyo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Matthias Bjurström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Patxi in the 65th minute of play. Segundo Cordairo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Benito Patxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthias Bjurström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Matthias Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Teyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Real Academia Serengetti's Carlos Teyo in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 808s & Heartbreak's goalie prevented a goal. 808s & Heartbreak's Matthias Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Luzaide in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Real Academia Serengetti getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Benito Patxi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Real Academia Serengetti's Clodoveo Sagrario got control of the ball when Kristian Nässén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leo Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
