Robbrecht Vrijdag was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Angelo Vandamme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbrecht Vrijdag was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Charl Rondou kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Fernand Vervaet notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Dark Energy's Glen Jooris. Glen Jooris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19thth minute of the game Angelo Vandamme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dalmore's Robbrecht Vrijdag was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Herve Verheijd fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Energy's protests and gave Herve Verheijd a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dark Energy getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Herve Verheijd hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Gery Marchal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalmore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Dalmore's Robbrecht Vrijdag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Vandamme in the 31st minute of play. Glen Jooris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matty Tuerlinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dark Energy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Herve Verheijd hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Nicky Van Arschot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Glen Jooris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conrad Van Achtens hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Yanis Sellekaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Conrad Van den Bergh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dark Energy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dalmore the free kick. After 40 played minutes Dark Energy got a freekick which was hit by Conrad Van den Bergh. 41 minutes into the game, Yanis Sellekaerts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Glen Jooris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Vandamme was the one to do the kick off. If Fernand Vervaet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Nicky Van Arschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbrecht Vrijdag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanne Luijten in the 57th minute of the match. Robbrecht Vrijdag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yanne Luijten in the 59th minute of play. Dark Energy's Glen Jooris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanis Sellekaerts in the 66th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Angelo Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbrecht Vrijdag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Dark Energy's Angelo Vandamme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robbrecht Vrijdag made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Herve Verheijd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Robbrecht Vrijdag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dark Energy's Glen Jooris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Energy from getting a goal against them. Glen Jooris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yanis Sellekaerts in the 88th minute of play. In the 96th minute Mathias-Alexander Vrankx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbrecht Vrijdag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Dark Energy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dalmore's performance. The match ended with a win for Dalmore.
