If Rodrigo Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Pau Nas Canelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Ribas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Orland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Ribas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Uriel Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Ribas in the 20th minute of play. Anselmo Iraido hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Hilário Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Remicio came free, but Hilário Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Amílcar Granja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pegaso's Rodrigo Cordario fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilário Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cordario in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Amílcar Granja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pau Nas Canelas's zone, Rodrigo Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilário Neiva came out of the goal and Rodrigo Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Jerold came free, but Hilário Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilário Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Locaio in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Anselmo Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Nuno Cordeiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pegaso's Uriel Orland. Uriel Orland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute Fernando Ribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Fernando Ribas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Orland was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Amadeo Iturri hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Nuno Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pegaso's Rodrigo Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pau Nas Canelas were victorious despite being under pressure from Pegaso for much of the match.
