Thomas Godholm hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Melquiades Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cura del Futbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Rosalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Cordaryal fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 13th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Eulalio Blanco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Albert Lövskog made a huge save. Gilberto Hernandez came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården IF's Tobias Jönsson. But to his dismay, Tobias Jönsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Mats Kinnman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Djurgården IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cura del Futbol the free kick. Mats Kinnman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cura del Futbol's Cleto Santikurtz got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig-Ove Engström's late challenge caught a Cura del Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Ove Engström helped the player get up and apologised. Mats Kinnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gilberto Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig-Ove Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tobias Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Albert Lövskog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Santikurtz made a kick off. Eulalio Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Lövskog was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mats Kinnman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Albert Lövskog didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cura del Futbol's Cleto Santikurtz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Teodosio Oriche's late challenge caught a Djurgården IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Oriche helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Lövskog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Santikurtz in the 66th minute of play. Melquiades Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Lövskog having to interfere. In the 79th minute Cleto Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats Kinnman hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Eulalio Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Lövskog having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Melquiades Rosalio made a precise shot to the right of Albert Lövskog. Djurgården IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Djurgården IF's Albert Lövskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Blanco in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Cleto Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Hernandez was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Stig-Ove Engström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stig-Ove Engström really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. There was no doubt that Cura del Futbol were the better team. Cura del Futbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
