The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, Atlético Arenillas's Lopez Coteron made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 26th minute Bjørn Mæhlum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Barrufet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bjørn Mæhlum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Roman Barrufet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Piñeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Saga TF's Geir Høyem made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Barrufet was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Lopez Coteron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geir Høyem in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bjørn Mæhlum to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lopez Coteron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steffen Møgster. Saga TF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lopez Coteron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 57th minute, Saga TF's Bjørn Mæhlum dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Joachim Fagerheim hit a great ball. Wellington Piñeiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Robert Rundhaug shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Barrufet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roman Barrufet was a little too slow when Geir Høyem got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-4. A collision led to Atlético Arenillas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Xzaver Garival hit a great ball. Zambrano Llanderrozos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Robert Rundhaug took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Barrufet. Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Pinto Anda came free, but Steffen Møgster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Lopez Coteron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Møgster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saga TF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
