Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Vilaverde kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Emiliano Eyague got control of the ball when Sandro Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Emiliano Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Meira in the 6th minute of play. Emiliano Eyague was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Sandro Monteiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sandro Monteiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 12 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Meira. Emiliano Eyague was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Humberto Castro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Emiliano Eyague made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Monteiro in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Vilaverde recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emiliano Eyague. Osvaldo Vilaverde showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 23rd minute Osvaldo Vilaverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Sandro Monteiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Eyague was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 33 minutes into the match, Leonardo Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Ventura. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Humberto Castro scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Eyague, making the score, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Arias made a kick off. Toti Nevi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Emiliano Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Vilaverde in the 60th minute of the match. Conan Barbaro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. VB-Team's Ivo Henriques got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Vilaverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Humberto Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VB-Team and the C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolau Zambujal came free in the 74th minute and tried to tip the ball over Emiliano Eyague, but to the joy of C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's supporters the ball went over. In the 75th minute, Ernesto Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes of play, VB-Team's Humberto Castro made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Eyague was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Vilaverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ernesto Seme charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Seme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 88 minutes into the match, Humberto Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Eyague. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. When the referee ended the match the VB-Team players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
