The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavinho Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan de Souza in the 5th minute of the match. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Madureira in the 6th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Palmeira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Madureira in the 13th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Proença. Dário Zonta, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Deivid Amorim hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Tróia. Eusébio Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Palmeira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Valadares in the 43rd minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorian Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Microsoft Team's Ricardinho Neiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavinho Palmeira. Flavinho Palmeira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alan de Souza made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Hoffmann in the 54th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Microsoft Team from getting a goal against them. Adhemar Madureira in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dorian Catarinense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. André Luís Pernambucano's late challenge caught a Lucca F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. Flavinho Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan de Souza in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Ricardinho Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Flavinho Palmeira. Lucca F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 73rd match minute, Microsoft Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Adhemar Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Alan de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Microsoft Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fernando Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavinho Palmeira having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Microsoft Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lucca F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
