An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Aparecido in the 6th minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Clodoveo Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Cecilio Nalo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11th minute German Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, CeciForEver's German Cordareo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fabiano Mesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Enio Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Ignazio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Freddy Ignazio could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Luís Fabiano Mesquita however easily saved by the left post. Dieguinho Arce's late challenge caught a CeciForEver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieguinho Arce helped the player get up and apologised. Dieguinho Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see CeciForEver's Efrain Itzaina in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Luís Fabiano Mesquita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the game, Enio Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Clodoveo Eriz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Freddy Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Denílson Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Eriz having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Denílson Nóbrega left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cecilio Nalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséas Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Eriz having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Cordareo made a kick off. The supporters of CeciForEver booed when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gilberto Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Gilberto Romo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CeciForEver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 74th minute Enio Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's zone, Delmar Ralondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fabiano Mesquita came out of the goal and Delmar Ralondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goal looked a bit too open when German Cordareo came free, but Luís Fabiano Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Nalo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fabiano Mesquita. Luís Fabiano Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Dieguinho Arce lost his temper 85 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, one of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG. When the referee ended the match the CeciForEver players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
