Joélson Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Raul Platas made a huge save. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Joélson Senna hit a great ball. Gabriel Gante hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Romário Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Gabriel Gante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benedito Ceresso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Joélson Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romário Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Wanderson Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Umbrella Corporation's Joélson Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Platas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Atletico Maturrango's Ciriaco Valiño got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joélson Senna to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Joélson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Platas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Atletico Maturrango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Gante to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's Tiago Gabriel Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Platas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Umbrella Corporation's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simão Maciel in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Bernardo Macedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raul Platas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Xzavaier Barsi fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Maturrango's protests and gave Xzavaier Barsi a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atletico Maturrango! In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Umbrella Corporation. Simão Maciel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raul Platas. 2-1. In the 74th minute Romário Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Platas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Gante. Gabriel Gante kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Joélson Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbrella Corporation's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Senna in the 95th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Raul Platas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
