Sven Sundén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milosz Burufski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Mårtensson in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milosz Burufski saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Awizo. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
