After having played for 12 minutes, Jan Kicia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FA Sandtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Kicia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Di Rocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, FA Sandtown's Jan Kicia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Cirulli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes, FA Sandtown's Feliks Lodowy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Cirulli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FA Sandtown reached it. The audience was convinced that Jan Kicia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Cirulli was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Anselmo Cirulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateusz Madej in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Dave Paolini. Dave Paolini hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. AC Roma's Anselmo Cirulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Ferfecki in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Beniamin Zecman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FA Sandtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beniamin Zecman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, AC Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Madej came free, but Anselmo Cirulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 51 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Madej. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Madej in the 58th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Anselmo Cirulli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateusz Madej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Anselmo Cirulli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Biagio Di Federico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Mateusz Madej was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FA Sandtown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Roma the free kick. After 70 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Madej. Patryk Harendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Vespa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliks Lodowy hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Demetrio Vespa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patryk Harendarski having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demetrio Vespa in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patryk Harendarski saved FA Sandtown from getting behind. Dave Paolini was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. Dave Paolini kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FA Sandtown's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
