The crowd rose to their feet as Sven Sundén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Ersman. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 48th minute, Sven Sundén reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl Ersman. The goal made the score 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Arne Stål to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Västlund in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Sven Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Ersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AIK FOTBOLL had played much better football throughout.
