After 13 minutes of play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Nuno Berrondo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justo Policarpio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justo Policarpio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincente Casuso in the 17th minute of the match. CERRO PORTEÑO's Berenguer Costilla challenged an opponent after 18 minutes. The hit was so bad that he suffered a foot injury. 18 minutes into the game, Daniel Esdras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arribeños AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CERRO PORTEÑO the free kick. 20 minutes into the match, Arribeños AFC's goalkeeper Justo Policarpio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Berrondo. After 43 minutes, Cornelio Elixio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arribeños AFC and the CERRO PORTEÑO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xabat Lariz scored 2-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Policarpio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Berrondo in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Justo Policarpio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

In the 51st match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Ebro to maneuver through the defense. Vincente Casuso scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Policarpio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nuno Berrondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Berrondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Policarpio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nuno Berrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincente Casuso struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Justo Policarpio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CERRO PORTEÑO. In the 74th minute, Vincente Casuso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 78th minute, Vincente Casuso made a precise shot to the right of Justo Policarpio. Arribeños AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Arribeños AFC's zone, Vincente Casuso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Policarpio came out of the goal and Vincente Casuso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Policarpio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincente Casuso in the 85th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the CERRO PORTEÑO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
