After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs's Ariel Florin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Teodoro Frechoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pinto Valer. Vincente Casuso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Teodoro Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claude Ebro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Macario Almodovar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee showed Domingo Diaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The CERRO PORTEÑO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
