Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blas Lidon kicked off to start the match. When Raymundo Hammond came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Brooklyn SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymundo Hammond couldn't finish the play. Foster Isaac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Miro having to make a save. When Junior Sewell fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brooklyn SC's protests and gave Junior Sewell a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Junior Sewell. Angelino Efraim struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Arnoldo Escobedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Las Momias F. C.. Luciano Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymundo Hammond in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Lidon came free, but Arnoldo Escobedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aldo Chaime, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arnoldo Escobedo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foster Isaac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Lidon in the 24th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Raul Indalecio. Edgar Chandler hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Escobedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Indalecio in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristopher Saenz to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Chandler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Miro having to interfere. Blas Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnnie Gould was the one to do the kick off. Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Lidon in the 52nd minute of play. In the 61st minute, Foster Isaac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brooklyn SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Las Momias F. The Brooklyn SC fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Brooklyn SC's Johnnie Gould looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brooklyn SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
