Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) 4 minutes into the game, Melquiades Atarratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dave Drescher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melquiades Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Albino Liberto sped through Fire Devils's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Drescher. Dave Drescher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Liberto in the 19th minute of play. Miguel Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Heinzmann in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Victoriano Martinez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dave Drescher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Liberto in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Drescher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Michel Spieler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Devils and the Tacheros de Buenos Aires players grew even worse after the yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Fire Devils:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tacheros de Buenos Aires a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Godofredo Sindo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fire Devils's Dave Drescher. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Atarratze in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Drescher saved Fire Devils from getting behind. Dave Drescher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Liberto in the 41st minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Fire Devils's Stefan Bircher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Demesio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fire Devils reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Liberto to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Damaso Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Drescher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Albino Liberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Dean Heinzmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Miguel Demesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Bouchard in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Demesio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Albino Liberto notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Fire Devils's Dave Drescher. Dave Drescher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Fire Devils's Dave Drescher got control of the ball when Albino Liberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Drescher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Atarratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Linus Egemann. Albino Liberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dave Drescher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Michel Spieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Bircher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miguel Demesio. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tacheros de Buenos Aires walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
