Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Twelve Ravens's Dolf Iansens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dirk Versluys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Prata in the 4th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Abel Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gato Preto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Twelve Ravens booed when Gato Preto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Twelve Ravens's Jaques Van Hoeijveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chicão Peixoto. That made the score 2-2 after 19 minutes of play. Dirk Versluys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Prata in the 22nd minute of the match. Chicão Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Iansens, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes, Maicon Prata made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Twelve Ravens's Dirk Versluys tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Caco da Costa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Twelve Ravens's Dolf Iansens in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. Maicon Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dirk Versluys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dolf Iansens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Iansens in the 38th minute. Dolf Iansens scored 3-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dolf Iansens might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dolf Iansens ran back to his position shaking his head. Chicão Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Iansens in the 43rd minute. Twelve Ravens's Dolf Iansens was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Prata to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Twelve Ravens booed when Gato Preto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gato Preto FC's zone, Dolf Iansens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal and Dolf Iansens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Dolf Iansens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. Dolf Iansens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Peixoto having to interfere. Gato Preto FC's Chicão Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Iansens in the 83rd minute of play. If Alek Decloedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Iansens in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Dolf Iansens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chicão Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-4. In the 93rd minute, Maicon Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Twelve Ravens fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gato Preto FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
