After 5 minutes of play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Zigmantas Šileika made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viorel Mestecăneanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viorel Mestecăneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Ronaldo in the 9th minute of play. When Gavril Scutaru came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the CF REALCipri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Scutaru couldn't finish the play. Algirdas Gesaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Nicolae in the 15th minute of the match. Adomas Žukauskas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viorel Mestecăneanu. CF REALCipri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robertas Ronaldo had several of the CF REALCipri's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Viorel Mestecăneanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Gavril Scutaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gvidonas Ričkus's late challenge caught a CF REALCipri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gvidonas Ričkus helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CF REALCipri booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gvidonas Ričkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robertas Ronaldo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Viorel Mestecăneanu 41 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Basarab Nicolae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algirdas Gesaitis was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Nicolae made a kick off. When Petras Tamašauskas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Pegasas Siauliai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petras Tamašauskas couldn't finish the play. In the 55th match minute, CF REALCipri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Siniştean to maneuver through the defense. Viorel Mestecăneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Ronaldo in the 58th minute of play. The referee ignored FC Pegasas Siauliai's protests and gave Vaidas Mastavičius a yellow card for diving instead. 67 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Petras Tamašauskas came free, but Viorel Mestecăneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robertas Ronaldo scored 4-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viorel Mestecăneanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toader Tunar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Algirdas Gesaitis having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Robertas Ronaldo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes CF REALCipri got a freekick which was hit by Doru Cristoiu. After a rather tough play, CF REALCipri's Gavril Scutaru got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when CF REALCipri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel David didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Liutauras Rudys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, CF REALCipri's goal looked a bit too open when Robertas Ronaldo came free, but Viorel Mestecăneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans cheered their team off the field, for while CF REALCipri had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
