Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thibaut Mazieres took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Algirdas Gesaitis got control of the ball when Thibaut Mazieres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simon Boivin's late challenge caught a FC Pegasas Siauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Boivin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Simon Boivin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robertas Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petras Tamašauskas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thibaut Mazieres got free with Algirdas Gesaitis in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Robertas Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Lherbier came free, but Algirdas Gesaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Zigmantas Šileika managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pegasas Siauliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Zigmantas Šileika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Fouquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Algirdas Gesaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Petras Tamašauskas charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petras Tamašauskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Petras Tamašauskas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Mazieres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algirdas Gesaitis was a little too slow when Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-1. Algirdas Gesaitis made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fabien Gouraud sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robertas Ronaldo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Robertas Ronaldo rounded La Pointe Courte's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Sabri Fouquet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute Raymond Lherbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algirdas Gesaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Ronaldo in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathis Castella didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pointe Courte's Tim Quantin was substituted for Wilfried Mahé. Sabri Fouquet was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Robertas Ronaldo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robertas Ronaldo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The supporters of FC Pegasas Siauliai booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Mazieres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, La Pointe Courte's Raymond Lherbier made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algirdas Gesaitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 82 minutes on the clock, Erikas Motiekaitis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 83 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Erikas Motiekaitis. In the 84th minute Simon Boivin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algirdas Gesaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the La Pointe Courte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
