The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jim Hautecœur hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Wataha Zielona Góra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Milko to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Brendan Cardot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Porajewski. Wataha Zielona Góra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brendan Cardot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind SILMONT's goalkeeper Charlie Baque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wataha Zielona Góra's Fryderyk Zawacki got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Brendan Cardot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SILMONT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Maximilien Houillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILMONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilien Houillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Dave Cosnefroy in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wataha Zielona Góra's Bartlomiej Karwowski. Lucjan Porajewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Cardot, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendan Cardot in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Porajewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Grzegorz Szel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Maximilien Houillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Porajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucjan Beninda fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wataha Zielona Góra's protests and gave Lucjan Beninda a yellow card for diving instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brendan Cardot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wataha Zielona Góra's Lucjan Porajewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Wataha Zielona Góra from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludovic Prudent during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Ludovic Prudent got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Konrad Milko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charlie Baque showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Brendan Cardot sped through Wataha Zielona Góra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Porajewski. After 65 played minutes Wataha Zielona Góra got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Beninda. Brendan Cardot had several of the Wataha Zielona Góra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Lucjan Porajewski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lucjan Porajewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brendan Cardot's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, SILMONT's Brendan Cardot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Brendan Cardot sped through Wataha Zielona Góra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Porajewski. When SILMONT's Brendan Cardot in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wataha Zielona Góra's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Brendan Cardot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Wataha Zielona Góra getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Maksymilian Banas hit a great ball. After 96 minutes of play, SILMONT's Brendan Cardot made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Porajewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Wataha Zielona Góra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SILMONT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
