Renatinho de Andrade started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho de Andrade in the 3rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sangue nos Zóio's Renatinho de Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cipriano Mateus. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Cipriano Mateus made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Renatinho de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Amancio Caitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of RCD CARABANCHEL SAD booed when Sangue nos Zóio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amancio Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Felippe Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sangue nos Zóio's Felippe Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Sangue nos Zóio from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Renatinho de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
