Ferdi Dekens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Zijdewind SC's Luuk Meppelink got control of the ball when Jeremias Mederi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Buskermolen came free, but Benjamin Urdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zijdewind SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Generoso Jaizki was slow to take the kick. During this time BAIRES's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to BAIRES's Jeremias Mederi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Luuk Meppelink made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jeremias Mederi sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Rencio during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes BAIRES got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Rencio. The supporters of Zijdewind SC booed when BAIRES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Mederi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Luuk Meppelink made a huge save. Abelardo Ermengol was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ciro Rencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Dekens to make the kick off. Jeremias Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luuk Meppelink having to interfere. Luuk Meppelink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Rencio's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Abelardo Ermengol hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Damien Schimmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Benjamin Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luuk Meppelink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Pascall Klaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, BAIRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Ipar to maneuver through the defense. Luuk Meppelink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Ermengol in the 78th minute of the match. Benjamin Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascall Klaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Ferdi Dekens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Damien Schimmel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zijdewind SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Schimmel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ferdi Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Urdin having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BAIRES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zijdewind SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
