Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Charlie Silk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gul Keep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bradaigh Silke in the 4th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tod Tompkins during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tod Tompkins kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Pembroke McPaul kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Robert Hammond took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bivadi McJohnny. Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Garlic Eaters's James Tuck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bivadi McJohnny was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Garlic Eaters's zone, Bannon Gollogley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gul Keep came out of the goal and Bannon Gollogley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradaigh Silke in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, James Tuck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bivadi McJohnny. Uí Fergusa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that James Tuck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cliff Gurney didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Uí Fergusa getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pat McLian hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Jonathan Dunning was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garlic Eaters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uí Fergusa the free kick. In the 34th minute, Jonathan Dunning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by James Tuck. In the 37th minute of the match Teagan Hughes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gul Keep showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Silk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Silk in the 42nd minute of play.

When Dugan Doherty fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uí Fergusa's protests and gave Dugan Doherty a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Dugan Doherty. Charlie Silk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny got control of the ball when James Tuck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garlic Eaters's Shaun Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Teagan Hughes got a free kick in the 59th minute. Bivadi McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Silk in the 60th minute of play. Uí Fergusa's Bradaigh Silke got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Bradaigh Silke put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gul Keep. Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Silk in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Charlie Silk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bivadi McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Ferdia McPhil. In the 88th minute, Uí Fergusa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after James Tuck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bivadi McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Silk in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, James Tuck notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny. Bivadi McJohnny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
