With his leg Marín Quiñones managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when ≮王者归来≯曼城阿奎罗's 袁耀钢 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 冯海朋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabino Pizarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ≮王者归来≯曼城阿奎罗 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ≮王者归来≯曼城阿奎罗 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
