Arda Baybars Trabzonlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hugo Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Dominguez made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vinará FC's zone, Yasin Şahbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Nazario came out of the goal and Yasin Şahbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vinará FC's Benicio Lluis got a free kick in the 55th minute. Vinará FC's Hugo Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bülent Zati in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bülent Zati in the 57th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Hugo Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's Bülent Zati nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Nazario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
