The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Mazuste in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josef Lundblad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Leif Larsson. In the 48th minute, Eustaquio Jakobe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Josef Lundblad, passed just outside the right post. With his leg Josef Lundblad managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Denis Ur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Jakobe to make the kick off. Eustaquio Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 minutes, Tomas Lagerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pauliström and the Atletas Campesinos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jakobe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Lundblad was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Andres Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Josef Lundblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
