Zelvin Victorino came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's Luiz Eduardo Braga. But to his dismay, Luiz Eduardo Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Roberto Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhonnatan Gallegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With his leg Roberto Oliveira managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Jhalmar Quijada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of LenSalvador CF-A.C.S booed when SeleSantos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhalmar Quijada made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 29thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Roberto Oliveira would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jhonnatan Gallegos struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Roberto Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LenSalvador CF-A.C.S. Mauricio Sigaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Oliveira having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jhalmar Quijada made a kick off. SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhonnatan Gallegos in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match LenSalvador CF-A.C.S got a corner. SeleSantos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Will Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jhonnatan Gallegos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Sena got free with Zelvin Victorino in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mané Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Mané Sá got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Will Alvarenga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
