Elder de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Wallach went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 6 minutes into the match, PKS Marymont Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Varela came free, but Cyryl Chwalkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Daniel Major made a precise shot to the right of Elder de Queiroz. Catadão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cyryl Chwalkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Rezende in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Stefan Wallach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PKS Marymont Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catadão the free kick. A collision led to PKS Marymont Warszawa getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stefan Wallach hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in PKS Marymont Warszawa's zone, Dráuzio França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyryl Chwalkiewicz came out of the goal and Dráuzio França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio França got free with Cyryl Chwalkiewicz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elder de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by PKS Marymont Warszawa's Lucjan Polek. But to his dismay, Lucjan Polek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After some careless play in the Catadão defense, Daniel Major kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder de Queiroz. The Catadão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. When Catadão's Fernando Varela in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalie prevented a goal. Michal Jenkot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Queiroz having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Gildo Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PKS Marymont Warszawa's Cyryl Chwalkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save PKS Marymont Warszawa from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 3-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Major to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes, Lech Bentkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PKS Marymont Warszawa and the Catadão players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PKS Marymont Warszawa's Lech Bentkowski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 70th minute Fernando Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chwalkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dejan Rodić fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PKS Marymont Warszawa's protests and gave Dejan Rodić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Lech Bentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Fernando Varela notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of PKS Marymont Warszawa's Cyryl Chwalkiewicz. Cyryl Chwalkiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Vitório Rezende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cyryl Chwalkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-5. Cyryl Chwalkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
