Capibaribe Stars's Sérgio Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Capibaribe Stars from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Acácio Peres made a precise shot to the right of Biagio Sessa. Zola Predosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 45th match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Araújo to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar dos Santos made a kick off.
