After some careless play in the Cambotinha EC defense, Frank Tabacchi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Reis. The Cambotinha EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Reis should have stopped the shot. After 9 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Porto. 13 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Biagio Sessa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Toledo. After some careless play in the Cambotinha EC defense, Damiano Renzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Reis. The Cambotinha EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Reis should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilherme Porto during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Tabacchi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Reis. Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Cambotinha EC's Guilherme Porto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Sessa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Zola Predosa FC's Damiano Renzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. André Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damiano Renzi's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes Zola Predosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Di Luca. Flávio Veloso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Cambotinha EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 36th minute Flávio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Sessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Damiano Renzi put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of André Reis. In the 43rd match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Prata to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Veloso made a kick off. Zola Predosa FC's Biagio Sessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Veloso in the 55th minute of play. André Reis came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Zola Predosa FC's Damiano Renzi. But to his dismay, Damiano Renzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Adriano Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Biagio Sessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damiano Renzi in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Reis saved Cambotinha EC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Renzi in the 64th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper André Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Damiano Renzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. André Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Damiano Renzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Reis was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Damiano Renzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Reis. Cambotinha EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damiano Renzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-8. Flávio Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Biagio Sessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Renzi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-9 in the 93rd playminute. Zola Predosa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
