Mjöllnir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aytaç Karacan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marc Brand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytaç Karacan in the 30th minute of the match. If Korhan Bozkurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Korhan Bozkurt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eregliweb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korhan Bozkurt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Didier Bonenfant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlmi Sirer having to interfere. Marc Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytaç Karacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Korhan Bozkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavian Gaertner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 45th playminute.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytaç Karacan got free with Marc Brand in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 89 minutes, Quentin Schmidlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mjöllnir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Schmidlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eregliweb's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
