Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusébio Matorin started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Gabriel Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilian Şunda came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Eusébio Matorin. But to his dismay, Eusébio Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Vintilă Drăgan fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Luck's protests and gave Vintilă Drăgan a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Drăgan. The crowd rose to their feet as Horea Zăreanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Veloso. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Gabriel Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Fința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Felix Codreanu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 32 minutes into the game, Flavius Fința recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabriel Veloso. Flavius Fința showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Aurelian Bulgar hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Ulysses Seco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Şunda skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute Eusébio Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Şunda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Codreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Ulysses Seco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Şunda skillfully saved the ball. In the 48th minute Eusébio Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Şunda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olimpiu Necula to strike the kick off in the second half. Felix Codreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The long shot by Cléberson Travassos in the 52nd minute really tested Emilian Şunda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Emilian Şunda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Matorin in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Matorin came free, but Emilian Şunda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Fința came free, but Gabriel Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Flavius Fința managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Luck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavius Fința was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Luck's Olimpiu Necula got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Adrianinho Ortiz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Adrianinho Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Caatiba MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Ortiz couldn't finish the play. When Caatiba MZC's Eusébio Matorin, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Caatiba MZC. Thanks to some nice moves Adrianinho Ortiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Emilian Şunda however easily saved by the left post.
